The ceremony of the III Jaime Fernández de Araoz Corporate Finance Award will take place tomorrow in Madrid. Professors Viral Acharya (New York University), Stewart Myers (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and Raghuram Rajan (University of Chicago) have been awarded on this ocassion for their paper “The Internal Governance of Firms”.

The financial crisis does not belong to the past yet. Viral Acharya, states taht we have already witnessed the worst of the crisis but we have not begun to overcome it. In his view, the full stabilization of the financial sector will not take place before six to nine months.
